Spring Makeup Inspiration #2- Cobalt Eyeliner
Welcome back Dolls! So next up for my favorite Spring 2015 Makeup Looks is….Cobalt Eyeliner! This is such a simple look but with a bold statement. The bright blue liner makes the eyes pop and its a fun look for when you want to keep your look simple but flirty! I went light on the contouring for this look to focus on the eyes more. I prepped my skin with MAC Strobe Cream for a slight sheen look and used Loreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation over the top. I used Smashbox Bronzer Sunkissed Matte along the cheekbones and around the forehead and jawline to give a slight bronzy look. I used a new blush I just purchased by Milani and I was super excited because I’ve heard amazing things. It was their Baked Blush in the color Dolce Pink. It is gorgeous!! It was around $7 at the Drugstore so not bad on price and it looked gorgeous on my skin. On my lids I used the LORAC Pro Palette shade Lt. Pink and Taupe for the crease. For the fabulous Cobalt Eyeliner I used NYX Studio Liquid Liner in Extreme Blue. It was my first time trying NYX Liquid Liner and I loved it! It went on easily and is long wearing which I love. I think it was $4.99 which is super affordable. For the lips I kept simple and used MAC clear Lip Gloss for a little shine.
The holiday of LOVE is just around the corner. Let’s be honest, everyday should be Valentines Day in my opinion. What woman doesn’t want to eat Chocolate, drink some champs and be spoiled for a day? I do! I do! Every year my love does an amazing job at spoiling me on this holiday and for that I am grateful. Good job babe! It got me thinking about men and the pressure to get his lady just the right gift. Now men, this is really simple. Listen closely…It’s the LITTLE THINGS. Now this statement doesn’t apply to all scenarios, but in this particular case I am referring to acts of love and effort that show you care. So when you are brainstorming about what to get your dime piece, think hard guys. Real hard. Maybe she was complaining about her wardrobe recently. Yes you’ve heard the same story before, but hey she’s dropping hints and you should pay attention. The single most important thing women want from a man is to know they are listening. We want to know you pay attention to us. Yes, we can nag once in a while, but hey we have to deal with your stories about trucks and watch Gold Rush. When are they going to hit the “mother load” for the love of pete?!! So this V-Day dig deep guys. Deep into that brain of yours and try to remember conversations with your lady. This will help tremendously. When you hand her that sparkly bag, she will be the happiest lady on the planet!
