I featured this look on my Instagram @megbbeauty recently and I received a lot of requests for product details, so I thought I would give you guys the deets on this gorgeous look. This is one of my favorite go to looks and its so pretty with any outfit or hairstyle. So if you love this look keep reading below to get details on how to achieve….
Primer: I used MAC Primer to prep my skin and cover pores to give makeup a nice smooth finish.
Foundation: I applied MAC-Studio Fluid Foundation all over the face with a Beauty Blender Sponge to give a flawless airbrush finish.
Concealer: I applied NYX HD Concealer under my eyes creating a triangle shape, down the tip of my nose and in between my eyebrows. I also applied right above my top lip and a small dab in the middle of my chin. I used my Beauty Blender Sponge to dab into skin. I set the under eye area concealer with MAC powder- Light Sweep. This will prevent your concealer from creasing.
Bronzer: I generously applied Smashbox Bronzer-Sunkissed Matte to my cheekbones, focusing on drawing the bronzer up towards the hair line. I also applied on the temples of my forehead, along top of hair line and along jaw line and on the neck.
Contour: I applied MAC Powder-Sculpt with a contour angled brush to the hallows of my cheeks, again drawing the brush up towards hair line. Make sure to blend well. I took a medium blending brush with a slight tip and drew two lines from right above the tip of my nose, up towards below eyebrows and blended. This gives your nose a nice slimming effect. Tip: Pinterest has so many Contour diagrams if you need help with this!
Highlight: I lightly applied MAC Mineralize Powder-Porcelain Pink as a highlighter in a “C” shape around the eyebrow and above cheeks. You want to be able to see the nice highlight if you turn your head to the side. I also applied this highlighter down bridge of nose and to the tip, above upper lip and on middle of forehead. Be careful to not over do this because you don’t want to be too shiny. Tip: Apply a small dab with shadow brush to the inner eye to add some shine.
Blush: I used MAC Blush-Warm Soul on apples of the cheeks.
Eyeshadow Base: I applied MAC paint pot-Painterly to lids as a base for my eyeshadow.
Shadow: I blended Smashbox Bronzer-Sunkissed Matte along crease of eye. I then applied Blackout from Urban Decay- Naked 2 Palette to the outer corners of my eyes in a cat eye shape. I then took a blender brush and smoothed out the corners and blended nicely slightly towards crease. I then applied MAC Pigment Shadow-Naked on lid and lightly below the brows to highlight. Tip: Use blender brush to fix any areas that need blending.
Liner: I applied NYC Liquid Liner-black across top lip and winged it out. I always say, Bigger the wing, the better ladies! After you get a nice wing, apply a little concealer underneath and the wing and draw up, cleaning the line and giving the wing a nice edge.
I also used NARS Cosmetics Long Wear Eyeliner-Larger Than Life to bottom water-line of eyes to make eyes POP! (this color is an off white color)
Lashes: I applied Loreal Power Volume 24 hr Mascara to both top and bottom lashes. I used Ardell Lashes-Curvy to get nice dramatic full lashes. This was first time I used this style of Ardell and I love them. They definitely completed this look and gave it a little glam!
I used Revlon Lipstick-Soft Nude and applied my new NYX Glam Gloss-VIP over the top.
There you have it!! I hope you liked this beautiful Glam look! I will be posting Video Tutorials soon but until then I hope this was helpful! Leave comments on what you thought and share with friends!
